Vango Aether Air 450XL Tent moroccan blue

The new Vango Aether Air 450XL, 4-man tent is an inflatable AirBeam tent within Vango’s new Earth Collection. The new collection launches the Sentinel Eco Fabric, made from recycled single use waste plastic. Not only does the Aether reduce plastic waste from the environment but benefits key features, such as Villa Construction for greater head height and internal space, allowing you to use the space right up against the tent walls.

Another feature is the Pre-Attached Extension, offering extra living space and a real outdoors feel, as well as a double living area and large front door, which can be fully rolled back to enjoy the good weather, or zipped up when more shelter is required. Fresh air flow is also a key feature as both the living room doors have mesh panels which increases the airflow, whilst keeping the bugs out. The Aether also features Vango’s AirBeam technology, ensuring quick inflation and a sturdy and reliable structure and benefits from clear access, king sized, bedrooms, designed with a wider entrance, with no step over into the bedroom and the Nightfall bedrooms reduce early morning light.

AirBeam
Innovative air linkage technology from Vango for quick and easy assembly. The air tube is in a robust polyester protective cover and this is in a flexible cover from the outer tent. The tube is inflated at a pressure of 8 PSI (0.56 bar). The tubes are tested to 30 PSI (2.00 bar) before the seam bursts. This enormously high load limit ensures that the Vango tents can be erected at any time of the year or day without having to add or remove air over time.

Sentinel Eco
The Sentinel Eco fabric from Vango is made from 70 denier polyester fabric. It is made from 100% recycled PET bottles and features ColourLok, which increases UV resistance and tear strength. Sentinel Eco offers UV30+ sun protection, is made from fire retardant fabrics and meets the EN5912 safety standard.

SkyTrack
A system for hanging lamps and lines. A soft plastic rail is worked into the cover of the air linkage, into which you can hang the SkyHooks. LED lighting, cables or dry lines can then be attached to the Skyhooks.

AirSpeed
Vango’s innovative and easy-to-use valves make misuse impossible. The supplied pump adapter rotates the valve to the correct position and ensures rapid inflation and deflation of the air.

AirZone
Intelligent ventilation system that takes advantage of the physical properties (thermals) of warm and cold air. In the upper and lower part of the tent walls ventilation openings are integrated, which provide air circulation in the tent and create a good indoor climate. Warm air rises and is pushed out through the upper vents, cooler air is sucked in through the lower vents.

TBS II
Vango’s Tension Band system is internal storm tensions. They form a power triangle and make the tent more stable (30 % more stable than conventional tents) against strong lateral or alternating winds. The clip system allows the cords to be removed if necessary and stowed in the pockets provided.
