The Scafell tunnel tent has two identical frame arches for quick and easy erection. This lightweight tent has been designed to withstand a wide variety of weather conditions. It is equipped with TBS II and Gothic frame arches, which provide more stability while allowing snow and rain to slide off. This reduces the load along the frame arches.

ISO5912
All Vango tents are designed to the stringent international standards of ISO5912, which specifies requirements on safety, performance, rain resistance and fitness for use.

Gothic Arch
This form of tapered bows has the advantage that more space is created in the inner tent and on the outside of the water / snow runs faster and can not form water bags on the tent. Together with the TBS system, the slightly more pointed arch forms a very stable construction.

PowerLite Poles
Lightweight and durable aluminium alloy 7001-T6 poles are precision engineered for maximum strength.

TBS II
Vango’s Tension Band system is internal storm tensions. They form a power triangle and make the tent more stable (30 % more stable than conventional tents) against strong lateral or alternating winds. The clip system allows the cords to be removed if necessary and stowed in the pockets provided.
