Vango Skye 500 Tent treetops

The Skye 500 is a tunnel tent with three supporting poles. It has a side entrance leading to the high living area. Clear windows illuminate the spacious awning area. The darkened sleeping cabins provide a restful sleep. The patented TBS system increases stability in adverse weather conditions. A great tent for small families, couples, friends, weekend excursions and festivals.

Diamond Clear
The Vango PVC window film provides a clear view to the outside and lets much light into the inside of the tent. The window film will be wrinkle free as soon as it gets some heat.

ISO5912
All Vango tents are designed to the stringent international standards of ISO5912, which specifies requirements on safety, performance, rain resistance and fitness for use.

PowerFlex
PowerFlex-Fiberglas wird für viele Zeltkonstruktionen eingesetzt, da es sehr flexibel, aber trotzdem stabil ist. Fiberglasstangen werden von oben nach unten durchbohrt, in gleichlange Segmente geschnitten und auf einer Seite mit einer Metallhülse ausgestattet. Die einzelnen Segmente werden mit einen Gummiband verbunden, dies erleichtert den Aufbau. Um beim Aufbau die unterschiedlich langen Gestänge an die richtige Stelle zu platzieren werden die Gestänge farblich markiert.

TBS II
Vango’s Tension Band system is internal storm tensions. They form a power triangle and make the tent more stable (30 % more stable than conventional tents) against strong lateral or alternating winds. The clip system allows the cords to be removed if necessary and stowed in the pockets provided.
